This soothing remedy from Prevention includes one lone ingredient: milk. The instructions are even simpler. Buy some milk. Pour it in a bowl. Grab a washcloth and dunk it in the milk (make sure it’s cold). Next, lather body in milk (or spot treat) for 5 minutes. It’s as easy as that.

Puréed pumpkin and pumpkin seed butter are the highlight of this next remedy courtesy of The Huffington Post. With a banana and yogurt added to the mix this concoction packs both vitamins and proteins to keep your skin feeling rich.

  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seed butter
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup yogurt

Mix everything together and rub onto your face. Leave on for 20 mins and rise off.

Buzzing With Honey

Dry skin

Honey is a humectant, which means it absorbs and attracts moisture. This makes it perfect for dry skin. This recipe from The Nourished Life brings together avocado, yogurt and honey for a tantalizing blend of natural oils and vitamins to help skin glow.

  • 1 teaspoon mashed avocado
  • 1 teaspoon plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey

Combine ingredients in a bowl. Apply to your face and let it soak in for 20 to 30 minutes. Done and done. This is easily my favorite!
